NEWS FLASH!!

Howdy All! It's been a while... so I thought I would update everyone on whats happening in the Ortiz-Allan home. Landon has been working his little bootie off just taking over time and trying to save up. He finished up a long class for the fire department and aced his test. Whoo hoo! Our good friend Suzanne has moved out this month, so she will be missed. We will be turning that room into our new gym.
I, myself am training for my first ever triathalon. My girl friends, Jenna, Amanda, Sarah and Lisa will be competing in it with me. It's great to have each other for support. Just the other day Jenna and Jason pushed me to finish a 9 mile bike ride. To some thats a lot to some it's nothing, but I have to say I'm pretty pumped because it was certainly not the easiest thing. We then followed it up with a 3 mile walk/jog. For those of you interested in attending our great event, it will be on June 7th at Decker Lake. The triathalon is called Danskin. We run a 5K (3.1) swim 1/2 a mile (800meters) and bike 12 or so miles. It will certainly push us all. We are super pumped! Our team name will be "Slow Pokes" So if you can make it out to support us, hold up a sign for us. Our mascot will be a turtle. haha
Kobe and Julie the pups are doing great. Julie is now pushing 45 pounds and growing. Kobe is still managing to keep his Alpha dog label though. Kobe the bunny is still a hopin' and the hamsters are still a spinnin'.
We are all certainly blessed! and we love you all!

IT'S ALREADY JANUARY 22nd!!

Just a little update on our lives...Our baby Julie is now passing up 25 pounds and is about 4 months old, ha! We are taking Julie and Kobe to participate in the Blue Dog Rescue dog training/walk training from Jan-March on every Saturday 10am-11am. Julie is now potty trained about 97% and has learned sit, lay, shake and we are working on "Would you rather be a dead dog or an aggie" and having her roll over with her paws in the air :) So far so good!

Other than that we continue to work on the house as it is a constant project, but fun! We have a new tool bench in the garage for Landon that we spent with Christmas gift cards. We also got a new wine rack from our friends for our house warming that we can't wait to put together and put all our wine on!!

Linz and Landon News Update

So we are finally all moved in with a few smaller things to get from the apt. So now it's unpacking and organizing time :) We feel so blessed to have one another and to now have a beautiful home together. We are also so blessed to have some of our good friends show up to help us move. We so greatly appreciate it because it's never easy. We can't wait for you all to see it.

On the sad side, Landon's grandmother passed away this past weekend in her sleep. She has not been her healthiest for a while yet we had no idea it was close to the end of her time. Please keep Landon's grandfather, Landon, Landon's mom, brothers and the rest of their family in your prayers. She is now in a beautiful place and feeling better as ever looking down on us.

HOUSE CONTRACT HAS BEEN SIGNED!!

So...what a wonderful day it has been. Landon and I signed the contract today for our new home!! We are so very excited and can't wait to get all moved in. We will be moving in on the 2nd of November. We plan to have a house warming party but since we are moving in the house around the holidays we are going to wait till January because we know it is a crazy time for everyone. We can't wait for you to all see it. I have posted a picture to give you a little taste of what it looks like. It's also been a wonderful day because one of my best friends Kaleen is pregnant and she went to the doctor today and the baby has a perfect heartbeat and is doing great!! We are so happy for her and Michael. We also have our friends Erica and Kevin who are due any second to have a baby girl!! Thank you God for all the blessings!!
